From Co-Design to Series Production
We develop the complete process: from co-design and prototyping to industrialization and serial production, ensuring continuity across all stages.

Rapid prototyping and testing capabilities, supported by an ISO 17025 certified center, allow us to validate solutions and processes quickly, speeding up the transition to industrialization.
Multi-Site Production and Assembly
We produce and assemble highly complex components, systems, and equipment, including large-scale items, through controlled and repeatable processes.
Activities are carried out across multiple production sites and cover precision machining, metalworking, and structural fabrication, with the ability to handle different materials and thicknesses based on application requirements.
Production Plants and Operational Organization
ITA DEFENCE operates production facilities in Europe, India, and Brazil, close to key OEMs and target markets. This geographic distribution reduces delivery times and logistics costs while providing continuous support for operational activities.
Plants are organized according to lean production principles, making processes more stable and responsive: we can quickly adapt production to demand, improve operational flexibility, and ensure execution consistency, even in international contexts.
Certified Supply Chain and Flow Control
The ITA DEFENCE supply chain is certified and strictly managed, integrated into multi-site production processes and aligned with lean production principles. Supply chain control ensures continuity and coherence between procurement, production, and assembly.
This setup reduces operational discontinuities and variability, strengthening our ability to reliably meet HI-REL program requirements, where supply precision is critical.
Research & Development as a Lever for Strategic Applications
At ITA DEFENCE, we research next-generation materials and technologies to support high-tech applications.
All activities take place in dedicated facilities (design, prototyping, and testing), either independently or in collaboration with universities and research centers.
These facilities are closely connected to operational contexts, enabling rapid transfer of results into industrializable solutions.
A Solution Lab supports experimentation and validation of advanced materials and processes, with particular focus on laser technologies applied to complex manufacturing and treatments.
Testing activities are conducted in a UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 accredited Testing Center at the Streparava plant in Adro, allowing independent qualification tests and issuance of internationally recognized compliance statements. Facilities can simulate real industrial conditions and processes, reducing uncertainties and risks during development stages.
